The NHLPA's executive board now has the option of dissolving their union - which would allow players to file a class-action anti-trust lawsuit against the league.
I mean, if I'm a player and I truly have faith in my representation, why wouldn't I vote yes? All this does is grant the PA authority to file a disclaimer of interest - it's effectively adding another weapon to the arsenal. No guarantee they'll still pursue this path as a viable option.
I'd like to know the thought process behind the 22 players who voted no.
