I got 11 which I consider to be a lock with an outside shot at a few others. I might actually win one of these badboys!

Re: Bettman Lockout III Thread (aka NHL Offseason: Now & Forever)

zomg reveal!

the answers...

Player #1 (guy on left)

not 1 person got this right... (did i get a pic of the correct person?)

come on, young power forward, 0.5 gpg in 2010-11?

Spoiler:

Player #2

"The Prime Minister" Paul Martin, 4 ppl got this one right

Player #3

"Mr. Dreamy" Valterri Filppula, 6 ppl got this one, kinda distinctive looking

Player #4

no one got Cory Emmerton, and why would you? but he did play 71 games for the WANGZ last year...

Player #5

lots of ppl got "some kind of player!" Devin Setoguchi, one of the easier ones imo

Player #6

i might not have got this one, but many others did, it's "Captain America" John Carlson

Player #7

if you didn't get Mike "Mr. Underwood" Fisher then you didn't win this, i'm sorry

Player #8

"Poniboy" Alex Ponikarovsky, 5 ppl got this one right

Player #9

not one person recognized this guy as Bruno Gervais, but 2 ppl did think it was BOBROVSKY...

Player #10

only one other person besides DL was able to pick out his boy Bryan Allen

Player #11

3 of the last 4 ppl to enter (and no one else) correctly identified this guy as the Panther's Shawn Matthias

Player #12

maybe a weird pic, bc only 6 ppl knew this was Jarret Stoll

Spoiler:

Player #13

good job to Holdem & sylar for recognizing Rag$ young gun Derek Stepan

Player #14

lots of random old man guesses, but no named the right one in Andrew Brunette

Player #15

only Geddy figured out this was TML superstar J.M. Liles

Player #16

a few funny ginger guesses, but no one correct on Erik Condra of the Sens

Player #17

only sylar knew this was "The Great Dane" Jannik Hansen

Spoiler:

Player #18

RAT picked out his boy Benoit Pouliot, can't say the same for anyone else tho

Player #19

if you didn't know this was the [censored] All-Star Dany Heatley, then you should feel shame (almost everyone got this one)

Player #20

and Jordan "Kaptain Klutch Kid Kanada" Eberle

Player #21

good job Devin on knowing this was new TML superstar and perennial Selke candidate Jay McClement

Player #22

again, only RAT was able to discern that this was David Desharnais, shocking amirite?

almost as shocking that he was tied for 56th in the league last year with 60pts

Player #23 (you tell me which one is the NHLer!)

most ppl figured out that it was the black guy, Joel Ward

Player #24

only goofy knew that this was "Little Man" Scotty Nichol

Player #25

some ppl were thrown by the B&W photo that made him look 45yo, but yes this is Alex "Jizz" Semin

ok well a few ppl scored in the 2-5 range, nothing to be ashamed about bc this was pretty tough, but those names will die with me! good job, good effort, thanks for playing, better luck next time and all that.

winners bracket and podium incoming...

Yea, that was an easy one for me, Leafs fan and I know Jay irl.

a lot of my guess were wrong

Heatly was one where I knew I really should know who he was, but was drawing a blank for some reason. The same reason that I'm usually very bad at stuff like this.
