Tonight was the most exciting major prizefight I've seen in a long, long, long time.

If that didn't do it for you, well, good day to you sir.

So this is kind of sad. Firefox has this 'most visited' tab allowing you to quickly access all of the sites you frequent most. Still number one on the list is a webpage that I haven't visited more than a handful of times over the last few months.

Spoiler:
Penguins HF subforum

Yeah but it's even sadder because I've basically avoided HF entirely since the lockout. IT SHOULD HAVE GONE DOWN DAMNIT

A Slovak playing for Prague might have something to do with it too.

When I clicked a link titled JUST DROP IT! on Reddit, I was disappointed it didn't lead to a Maestro Fresh Wes video for Drop the Needle.

Quote:
The NHL and the players union have once again insulted the very people who pay their salaries. We the fans have the power to make them listen by taking the Just Drop It pledge. For every game they cancel after December 21st, we will boycott an equal number of games. They cancel 10, we boycott 10. No tickets, no TV, no merchandise.
****'s getting serious! Or something...

The two things I liked from Twitter were the Taiwanese NHL Lockout Animation and Daly's Voicemail to Fehr.

NSFW [and it's SoundCloud, which is banned]

- "off the table" sound effects - gotta love it

- Players with their Mariah Carey demands. WTF?

- 'I don't give a big **** flying **** ****. Big D out" - Big D really? comon.

- unnecessary shot at Leafs

Hard to believe it's real.

P.S. the brown M&Ms thing is on the Van Halen rider, and I heard a great explanation why on an episode of The Age of Persuasion.

Quote:
Part of their touring strategy was to perform in the small, third-tier towns. That meant Van Halen had to truck in nine 18-wheeler loads of equipment, and set up staging that weighed a few tons. But the band soon realized that promoters in small towns were treating the technical details of their concert contracts casually, putting the band at great risk. So Van Halen hid a little rider in the middle of the contracts. It said that "all brown M&Ms had to be removed from the backstage area" or else the band would forfeit the show.

So, if Van Halen walked backstage and saw brown M&Ms, it was a warning sign that the promoter hadn't read the entire contract, and the band would double-check all the staging to see what else the promoter missed. And inevitably, they would always find other omissions or errors.
