Watching oil change. Pretty sure the coach just used the word 'microgasm'. I'm assuming he experiences that anytime someone mentions that the oilers have a shot at the #1 pick.

Now watching the day that changed the game. It's nice that they made a documentary about how Sergei Fedorov ended Patrick Roy's career in Montreal.

Although he didn't quite breakout during the super series, nichushkin is a stone-cold lock. Look at this hit. he is 17.

Obvy no one itt knows about females and their underwear habits.
This post is the most incredible thing I've ever read on 2+2, and I feel like this thread is the most appropriate place to say that.

I mean, ****, it's not like we have anything better to talk about atm.

Your post in X Factor thread made me sad, then I come in here and see this

My ex (from this summer; not the psychotic one with the famous daddy) was in town all weekend texting me but decided to conveniently get in a cab at 1:55am instead of my car which I had downtown at 2:10am tonight and then didn't answer my phone call at 3am after I drove my boys home, so whatever. She can go **** herself LITERALLY

I'm starting to really not care about women anymore, which is very sad. I used to be so loving and willing to give girls everything. Now it's just like **** it I'm gonna go play video games and post on internet forums so deal with it womenz you ****ed me over NOW NO NICE WHITEGOOSE FOR YOU

I should also share my amazing story from tonight, via copying the Facebook status I made about it.

Bieber was in town tonight and this totally happened.

To the 11 year old girl who hollered "we love Justin Bieber!" at me from the window of a stretch Ford Expedition while I was finishing a smoke outside the bar... I am jealous of your life.

I mean seriously how sick does your life have to be as an 11 year old for your daddy to send you to see Justin Bieber in a ****ing stretch Expedition with all your friends? ****.

The level of happiness those kids must have experienced tonight... I may have only experienced a few times in my entire 23 year old life.

What do you think is the deadline to get a deal for NHL to take place this season? When would a cancelled season be announced?

"Jeremy Jacobs of the Boston Bruins, Ronald Burkle of the Pittsburgh Penguins, Mark Chipman of the Winnipeg Jets, Jeffery Vinik of the Tampa Bay Lightning, Murray Edwards of the Calgary Flames and Larry Tanenbaum of the Toronto Maple Leafs"

Hawk, Dove, Dove, Hawk, Hawk, Dove?

Any idea who the players are?

the Flames are "Hawks" now? not so sure about that...

also depends on who you think is pushing the hardline agenda i guess

Kam: prob mid-January, give or take

need to get 40-50 regular season games in at least, can play about 15/month max, not sure how late into the calendar they're willing to go, but that's about the math of it afaict

Yup. The 94/95 lockout ended Jan 11, and they started playing Jan 20 for a 48 game season.

During the next lockout, they didn't announce cancelling the whole season until February 16th, which is way later than I remembered.

It seemed later than you remembered because the "official" announcement about it was a moot point by then and everybody pretty much already knew or generally assumed way before that.

It could be interesting to see what kind of scramble/panic mode they all get in around Jan 10-15 or so. Everybody may pack it in and pretty much decide there's just no freaking way at that point.

Remember 3 months ago when so many were saying, "they'll get it done by December 1 or so. The Winter Classic is just too important and there's no way anyone is going to sacrifice that." Oh yeah. Those were the days of super-high optimism that both parties had a clue and would never let it drag on more than a couple months nor was there any real risk to losing a whole season. LOL at everyone I guess.

The owners probably just need all to get laid and then they'll be in a better mood and take 50/50 deal.

It involves me, Flyers Girl, her last night in Ontario, a room at the Sheraton Fallsview and a whole lotta booze on a cold Friday night in Niagara Falls.

the owners would take 50/50. that seems to be the one thing both sides have agreed to. it's the players' insistence on "make whole" and the owners' insistence on contract limitations that's the holdup afaict.
