Rihanna should date the Montreal Canadiens because they don't beat anyone.

the offseason thread had it right last year, you could post in it, but not about teams still alive.

Re: NHL Offseason 2012 Thread

The Edmonton Oilers are pleased to announce that they have traded their first round pick to Montreal for Montreals 1st, 2nd and 3rd round picks.

You can take the flimsy russian. We just wanted the equity.

Murray at 3rd or Reinhart at 8 are the spots we need.

That has to be dished for some veteran defensemen or Cam Ward, imo.

Prediction : we hear more from Habs and Leafs fans about how they got robbed in this lottery than we hear from Blue Jackets fans.

Re: NHL Offseason 2012 Thread

i have no idea how the lottery works, besides the basic explanation they gave (can't move up more than 4 spots, etc...) but tampa was slotted #14 and ended up with the #10 pick so does that mean they won the actual lottery?

How can something be louder than the noise made by something that does not exist?

Probably still not a paradox, but if Paradox was a Russian superstar, we'd have the option to draft hiim first overall right now.

Everyteam gets a percent, and one team wins based on that percent (actually calculated by drawing 4 lottery balls out of a drum and using that combination to match up with a chart that splits the percents). The winning team jumps the 4 teams above them. Everyone else stays the same.

Calgary was slotted #14 not TB. TB did not move.

The only 2 teams to move were Edmonton (won the draw and moved up the max), and CBJ who got knocked down 1.
