I think a fair line MIGHT be -5000. And even at those odds I would probably take it.

I'm going to assume that if the season gets delayed by two weeks or something but they keep the full 82 game schedule that one would lose the prop. But it's just not going to happen. No way.

Nhlpa is in negotiations to put together a Canada cup/ summit series type event in November if there is a lockout.

I've been watching the Canada cup reruns on tsn lately. I would love to see today's stars play a series like that.

Nuge eberle hall vs yakupov before they ever play a game together would be weird though.

For the record it's turned into way more of a mainstream radio tour than a social media one, ironic as that's the angle that all of the mainstream radio shows are selling it as ( a social media movement). CBC tv on Sunday will help.

Must be a bitch to be a NHL hockey fan right now

On the other hand if anybody cares our hockey league is booming and getting stronger year after year. EBEL leauge. It's an austrian leauge but clubs from Hungary,Croatia and Slovenia are also competing in it.
Some pictures from todays game between Zagreb and Ljubljana. The game was played in an old Roman amphitheatre in Pula(croatia).

And now that NHL will prolly go on lock out, clubs in EBEL are already promising that they'll bring NHL players here

That would be fantastic, but I don't think it's possible. Bigger clubs in Europe(scandinavin,swiss and russian clubs) have much more money to offer.But if he chooses to come here and play for Olimpija Ljubljana, it would be such a boost for our hockey. Slovenian club hockey is ****ed and Ljubljana is the only team that it's keeping it above the surface.

Last time there was a lock out(2005 I think?) Manny Malhotra played here in Slovenia for Olimpija Ljubljana

Ahh nwm: I've just read that Kopitar wants to play in Sweden....

Also there will be a second game in Pula this sunday(Zagreb Medveščak vs Vienna Capitals). So if anybody wants to watch send me a pm....

fun fact: first game started with an 1 hour delay due to bad ice(amphitheatre in Pula is almost right next to the sea...). So for apology organisers gave 6k beers for free.

Triumph, not official yet. But speculation is that Flyers affiliate will have Brayden Schenn, Couturier, Wellwood and of course....Rinaldo!! no question this league will be pretty interesting. handicapping who the best will be can be tricky though. Some less spectacular names getting sent down to bolster blueline will be just as important as the name scorers up front.
