Only time I went to Phoenix, 4,000+ Flames fans made the trip down in February and the house was packed, so yeah, my experience was quite good and probably an anomaly compared to what you normally experience. But I don't think there's one definition of what a good game experience entails.

Both sides vigorously puffing chests. So I say hi and bye to you guys. Hope you all had a good summer. Be back when actual hockey is on. Seen this movie before.

My guess.

30% chance they'll be back by Dec.

40% by Feb

30% say hello to 2013-2014

You should try to return the game for a refund if you are not happy with it.

I'll have something to say on Sunday, but this is pretty much it in a nutshell. Don't drive yourselves mad, turn it off.

Doan to choose Canucks or Coyotes today

I think the Canucks make the most sense since he stated he wants to sign with the Coyotes only if the ownership is secured (which it is not right now) and he wants to get in before the new CBA.

Lehtonen isn't bad but it's actually 5 years so that makes the contract a little worse.

I'm guessing CBA uncertainty has to explain some of that, otherwise it's gotta be his agent getting some quality DC PCP

Re: NHL Offseason 2012 Thread

Also, a lot of teams issuing announcements of assigning their players to their AHL teams now. TB assigns 18 players to Syracuse, Columbus assigns 20 players to Springfield, that type of thing.

Mostly guys that were expected to the be in the AHL anyway who WOULD have been at the NHL training-camp...plus the 2 or 3 guys who would have been at the NHL who are eligible to go down.

What exactly do the players want? Why can't the league just keep things at status quo until another time? Two seasons possibly gone in a decade because of labor talks?

Looks like it's time to find a KHL team to follow. Sylar, which team likes to lose in the playoffs repeatedly in the most lulzy and/or heartbreaking fashions?
