I feel that my best tweet so far was to Carly Rae Jepsen "I just tweeted you and this is crazy, but here's my website, click it maybe? youhavetwoweeks.com".

No response...

I actually thought Marchand looked really good every time I've seen him play. Even still, that's definitely overpayment.

I think you can figure out the twitter handle by either typing their name into Twitter, or googling "Paul Bisonette Twitter"

If you don't have twitter, you'll need to sign up. You can also just give them our twitter address (@youhavetwoweeks) and the website some other way and ask them to tweet it.
Well, I sent it to one guy anyway. Although he doesn't really tweet. I mentioned another guy that plays in Germany, so it might make it to some of his pro buddies.

EVERY time? so you didn't watch the Bruins in the playoffs last year...?

also i'm pretty sure he had some bad stretches last that caused him to get bounced around the lineup as a wakeup call, but i could be wrong there (going off of vague recollections here).

so you agree with me, but my opinion is based on me still being MAD from something that happened a long time ago? kool...

hmm, actually i remembered some of these other contracts as being worse than they are, but still should be fun to watch them try to sign Lucic, Horton, Seguin, Rask, etc next summer.

You being mad was directed at your 'there's a reason you didn't repeat' comment, which is why I isolated that quote from the rest of your post. You're most definitely still up$et. Also, two years is a long time ago now?

Name of the guy in Germany?

it feels like 5 years ago at least, i could really hardly care less anymore, but notwithstanding Marchand is one of my least favourite players in the league, and i hope bad things happen to him. just seems like an out and out douchenozzle in all facets of his life.

and the not repeat thing was more about how some of these teams make a run (win or not), then basically spend all their money bringing back the exact same group. usually not a great idea, especially with depth players that are basically replaceable.

cliffs: no i'm not MAD, but i prob won't stop trolling the Bruins going forward either

I was way more nervous than I thought I would be. I never get nervous, and wasn't stressed at all until she introduced me and my voice came out funny haha.

I went off on a couple tangents, and really wish I had of simplified some stuff, but it was hopefully just the first of a couple interviews coming up.

I tried to find it online for this thread's enjoyment, but no luck. She seems to upload podcasts of every show, except the exact hour I was in is the only podcast missing off her site. It was the last half hour of the sept 7th simi sara show on CKNW if anyone can find it.

Earlier today I saw some editor from Puck Daddy bashing us on twitter, so I read his last few tweets, and noticed he was going on the Sean Leslie show.

I tweet back that I'd love to join and respond to some of his comments live on the air. They couldn't fit me in, but the producer called right after the show ended to book me for 3:00 Vancouver time to open the show tomorrow.

It was weird, because they opened the interview by reading the open letter off our webpage (in a mockingish voice), then the puckdaddy guy and sean leslie proceeded to talk about us and crack jokes about us for 10 minutes. That was the entire interview. I completely understand anyone not supporting us, but to spend that much time hating on us must be a chapter in some psychology book.

Also, because this thread has become the personal diaries of the regs, I want to share that I just had a 6 hour date that ended in a hug.

You should ask him why he is mad that someone's trying to do something about it, and tell him there is no need to be upset. Several times.

I got into a twitter war with the puckdaddy guy earlier. I've been trying to avoid this type of thing but oh well. Here it is if anyone cares:

HarrisonMooney:
Appearing on CKNW in Vancouver at 5:30 to discuss fan-organized boycott movements and how thoroughly effective they are.

YouHaveTwoWeeks:
@HarrisonMooney Puckdaddy has bashed us via blog and twitter CKNW has my number from yesterday. I'd love to join the chat on the air. #cknw

HarrisonMooney:
Just read the list of products @youhavetwoweeks plans to boycott. High comedy. Good luck with that.

YouHaveTwoWeeks:
@HarrisonMooney high comedy is the editor of puckdaddy finally reading our site 3 days after bashing us on their blog. #journalism

HarrisonMooney:
@YouHaveTwoWeeks Oh no, I read it then. Just brushing up on it now. Still funny. And I'm just the associate editor.

**I then tweet 3 or 4 times to CKNW, Sean Leslie and this guy begging to let me on the show to talk. The show started airing, and they were cracking jokes about our site for 5 or 10 minutes, including laughing about how ridiculous a Molson boycott would be.

YouHaveTwoWeeks‏:
@seanleslie980 @harrisonmooney Please read this link http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NHL%E2%80%93WHA_merger … You both had a good laugh at Molson being on our list. It can work

Harrison Mooney‏:
@YouHaveTwoWeeks @seanleslie980 I continue to have a good laugh. Very different situation, better-organized boycott.

YouHaveTwoWeeks:
@HarrisonMooney @seanleslie980 if it worked then, why not help us organize better this time instead of putting us down via blog and radio?

HarrisonMooney:
@YouHaveTwoWeeks @seanleslie980 Because, honestly, I don't believe in your cause, and you can't force two sides to agree. This isn't a vote.

YouHaveTwoWeeks:
@HarrisonMooney @seanleslie980 It's a 30 owner vote behind the scenes. If we cause 1 of those votes to change, the lockout just shortened

To sum up. Puckdaddy trolled me, and I bit.

I don't feel like shamlessly bumping that thread, it's died twice now (once I bumped it). Ya it's true, everything is going to have people on both sides. Gotta just focus on the people who support us.
