It's 24/4, not 24/6.

Also sabres offer of 30/4 is apparently still on the table. So buffalo needs to overpay by 25% just to be considered. thumbs up, pegula.

Not sure what to make of Landeskog being made captain. My initial reaction is that it's too soon, but who knows?

I can't argue with anything for the Wild. I am not a huge mini-donuts fan, but they are as much a signature than anything.

So January then?

Anyone else lol when BizNasty tweets about the lockout? Isn't he the type of player who should be all over Fehr and the rest of the PA to get this **** sorted out quick?

Anyway, Ron McLean says there will be no lockout. So, we're all good then.

this is part of how the union lost a season last time. it's not incumbent on the players to give in, but fringe players should absolutely be worried about losing paychecks. although for bissonnette, he's too popular on twitter not to parlay that into some kind of tv job somewhere doing something.

Glad I'm not the only one who thinks this way. Doan is still a very useful player, especially on a contender.

From the article:

"Police were certain that the shooter was from Montreal even before ID'ing him due to the shot being that far wide"

I feel like the barometer* for this thread should be "Would it get air time on Coach's Corner"?

*Why do I want to use the word barometer here, is that even close to right?

And before anyone asks, Yes, I would read an entire thread about Brian Burke, shoulder pads, Bobby Orr, and dead Canadian military.
