Eberle is this generation's Mark Messier. It's a great deal.

Lets see if he can maintain a 1980s shooting percentage.

Nail is the greatest.

In a 10 second span in that video, he says that Edmonton is his favorite town and then immediately says "there's nothing to do there".

$6 million seems good if you think you've got a 30-35 goal scorer.

Better than the $5.5 million that Katz gave to Horcoff (lol still two years after 12-13 on that contract).

Saying Jordan Eberle is overrated is like saying Paul Henderson is overrated.

Eberle deal makes no sense. Why sign him now? Just wait till the end of the year to see how he does?? Do they think he won't sign for that much this time next year? Oilers are a joke, at least when Penguins tanked they eventually won rangzz.

Maybe they think he'll get better and demand more money? It's ******ed thinking, but that's par for the Oilers organization.

Just looking at Tambellini in that TV reality show I thought to myself who looks at that guy and thinks I'll let you run my multimillion dollar franchise.

I guess not

FWIW, the team is still going to be crap until they get their defence/goaltending sorted out.
