I didn't start watching hockey a lot until 2009 so I really just have no idea who would have moved around the year before. I'd do a lot better on this question if it was related to later years.

Also, ban A5 because his later post gave away an answer I would have gotten if I hadn't submitted my answers 5 minutes after reading the questions.

If that's considered giving away an answer then we might as well not even post ITT between reveals.

I was between Anton and Marian and figured they'd both be equal. Of course I flip a coin and pick up 7 points instead of 3, wtf.

And I'm sick as a dog, stuck in my hotel room in Oxford and drinking as much OJ as possible before my flight tomorrow, otherwise it's gonna be a loooooooooooong 8 hours. ****in' Glasgow, must've been something I ate, but I'm hurtin' BAD.

oh god I thought the offer subban refused was 5m PER YEAR for 2 years, not 5 total.

I can go back to breathing again

$5M over two years is a lowball that doesn't even make it to the plate. Someone should offer sheet if that's what the Canadiens are throwing out there.

I wonder if one team would ask another to offer-sheet a player.

Something I did not know, the Canadiens rule.

Despite the rule in place, and a smaller gap between them and the rest of the league, the Canadiens still led the NHL on the power play the following season.
Amazing they were able to do this with the entire league conspiring against them

Ya, the Habs had it right. All NHL teams should have exclusive rights to any player from their province/state.

Would have been fun to watch a dozen seasons with the Yzerman/Sakic combo down the middle with Neids on D.

Hockey was so lol back in the day because of all the ridiculous rules. I'd love to see how the game would be played today if there were no forward passes

I got #5 wrong because they always force the story, "Will he finally win a cup after his long HOF career?" or "This will cap a magnificent career." But then the players limp along for a few years after that.

I blame HNIC Bob Cole. I can hear his voice.

Well you're guaranteed a supermegaultra run hot win against the Flyers in plan C.

Plan D has no preseason games and only 1 non 7:30pm game. Clear winner. Though I guess Plan A has opening night & fan appreciation night.
