Okay on to Round 2, or as I like to call it, the round where Triumph couldn't come up with the right mix of questions so he threw a bunch of nonsense together. I don't know why I like to call it that.

Answers are due by Thursday at noon EST. Please, a reminder to people named TJay, do not put a number before each answer - just list the answer. So the answers would go:

Nail Yakupov
Reijo Ruotsalolol
etc.

Round 2: Hodgepodge

1. Name a goalie post-1980 who posted a sub-2.00 GAA in a season (minimum 25 games)

2. Name an NHL franchise (post-1980) that was never (head) coached by a Sutter, and never had a Sutter play for them - I'm talking about either the original Sutter brothers, or their sons.

3. Name a goalie to start a playoff game for a Canadian team since 2005.

4. Name an NHL team Brett Hull played a game for.

5. Name a non-Gretzky player undrafted in either the NHL or WHA who played in an NHL All-Star Game in 1990 or later.

6. Name a player who scored 50+ goals for a team that has since relocated.

7. Name a member of the Stastny family to play in the NHL.

Does question number 6 mean a player who scored 50+ for the Montreal Expos before they moved to Washington, or a player who scored 50+ for either the Expos or the Nationals.

Pretty sure you mean the first, but just want to make sure.

Would it be reasonable to suggest that there is more talent when there are more kids?

Maybe that is why there was higher scoring in the 1980s.

It would predict the "Echo Boom" to spike goals by 2015 or 2020, just in time for Edmonton's 2nd dynasty.

T, can you clarify question 2 plz?

The (post 1980) part I mean. The team has to have been in existence since at least 1980?

Yeah, so you can't answer the Ottawa Silver Seven or some nonsense. It has to be an NHL franchise active that has been active from any time after 1980 onwards.

I don't think that's entirely reasonable. I mean what we see across sports is that dominance, in general, is more difficult now than it was before. Albert Pujols is a phenomenal baseball player, but his numbers don't stack up to Babe Ruth's. I don't think there's more talent in the 1980s, I think there's much, much less - it's just that it was spread out far more unevenly than it is today.

I mean, who posted that clip of Bob Cole - that game from 30 years ago almost looked like an AHL game might today.

Just locked up some minipacks with 3 of my buddies. We get 7 games including 1 Friday and 5 Saturdays (1 Saturday is a preseason game). Canucks (preseason), Florida, Nashville, Colorado, Anaheim, Phoenix and STL. Should be some good games in there. The Oilers bring it for HNIC.

The only snoozer is Nashville on a Tuesday.
