Trying to remember the sports books I used to like. I don't think they were mysteries but something weird happened. Like there was a hockey one where the guys played table hockey the night before and the game played out like their game somehow. Then there was some football team that played against an all-deaf team that used a bass drum for their snap count. I think they were the same series.
Ice Magic, Face-Off, The Hockey Machine...and then of course Shortstop From Tokyo, The Catcher With The Glass Arm...omg omg omg Matt Christopher novels
can't remember if Matt Christopher is the dude i used to read or not. there was some guy with a series of sports books that i'd always grab from my school's library, but of his sound all that familiar. hmm...
was also some guy with a series of hockey books i had, can't remember if i read or not though, lol
/csb
and yeah sea weiss, it's really the summer of Wet Island, isn't it?
I'm in Canada (Vancouver) for the first time since I was like 10 years old. This place is pretty sweet guys.
I'm staying with some family friends, and so far I've had a bunch of Kokanee, a couple of Caesars, and a glass of Icewine. I feel like this is pretty Canadian - I'm pretty proud of myself.

Reason: and quite drunk
Just bought some Ketchup Chips, and All Dressed Chips. Mind-blowing. I'd like a real Canadian to explain what All-Dressed is supposed to taste like - I have no ideaw.
Disappointing lack of milk in bags at the store. Apparently, not a Richmond/B.C. thing.
edit: I promise this is the end of my Canadian live-blogging tonight.
