I have the sickest ace for the first question of the new peehs, and you guys are gonna go "LOL what a cheater" but I actually have a really cool anecdote to prove my innocence. Jaw dropped as soon as I read the question.

I believe it can very well be argued that Minneapolis also served as "hosts" of the event.

From an article on NHL.com

Quote:
Similarly, for the Minnesota Wild and the cities of Minneapolis-St. Paul - the process of hosting an event of this magnitude was years in the making.
Here's something from PuckDaddy. Not definitive necessarily. But goes to my point.

Quote:
Winner: The cities of St. Paul and Minneapolis
The Twin Cities played great hosts for the NHL Draft Weekend and showed why Minnesota is called the "State of Hockey". Wild fans were loud -- especially when the Devin Setoguchi(notes)/Brent Burns trade was announced -- and were given plenty to cheer when they saw 10 Minnesota high schoolers chosen on Saturday.

Some league and team officials stayed at hotels in Minneapolis as well and some conferences related to the draft event were held in that city.

I think it is incorrect to say that Minneapolis did not host the event.

Minnesota is an incorrect answer because...yo...that ain't a city. But Minneapolis most certainly hosted the draft imo.

Well that solves that!

The draft was held at the Xcel Energy Centre, which is located in St Paul.

Bryzgalov was on the bench for game 5 when Anaheim won the cup in 2007. Does that not count as playing? I guess not. I over thought the question.

I'm so horrible at peehs it's scary.

assuming he was never in nets, he doesn't get credit for a game played, and thus shouldn't count.

i think minnesota should count as an answer, the draft was not billed as being held in st. paul. lol at minneapolis counting, i bet when this upcoming draft is held in newark that some team officials will stay at hotels in new york - does that count

meh I spent at most 15 minutes on these questions, didn't feel like thinking hard about most of them. not to say i would have won had i thought hard, as i don't think i would have, but i definitely just wrote what came into my head first for a lot of them.

yeah this, spent about 10-15 minutes on it

tried to be a hero on a lot of the questions, surprised to many were incorrect. should prob just adopt a goofy strat of picking an obv answer, or at least something i know is correct for each. but yeah, prob wouldn't have won anyway...

thanks for running it, switch!

also i have an unbeatable strategy at NHL peehs - and it's not the goofy method

i suppose you're gonna prove it in this SC peehs then?

edit: and yeah obv the goofy method is beatable, but you prob can score well consistently with it given that most ppl level out of picking the most obv answers, so that plus no incorrects is a pretty good start
