Looks like missing a full year as a teenager to a major knee injury ain't no thang for Galchenyuk.

Watching Caps-Pens game 5 from '09(?). Semin has probably been the best ES player in the game and color man says he's "not all there"

Honestly I was just going to suggest that you edit the title of this thread to include WJHC discussion during the tournament, since it would direct the traffic in here and give us something to talk about in here. Regardless I don't feel like making a thread so if you or anyone else wants to, go for it.

Game 5 what a gongshow. Gordon clearly gets cleaned out on the very same play Malkin scores the OT winner, standard. I tuned into Game 3 for a hot second earlier tonight... long enough to see that the Pens were 1/7 on power plays early in the 3rd period. Simply an atrocity.

Barker just got released from his PTO with Texas.

The Caps/Pens 2009 series shown last night on NHL Network brought back some memories. Especially Game 3, holy **** that overtime was amazing. This guy couldn't believe it either.

I wanna see some live hockey before I go back to the states for the holidays. Am I right in seeing that there's no major junior team in Montreal? That seems surprising.

Thats QC, I just did some reading they moved the montreal team to Boisbriand which I think is a fairly distant suburb.

hmm, yeah guess there is no team in Montreal anymore...

closest one of Shawinigan, Drummondville, or Gatineau maybe?

and i'm pretty sure that Gatineau isn't close, so perhaps none of them really are

edit: oh yeah i guess the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada is your best bet then? idk

Major junior simply doesn't work in big cities east of Kenora, can't figure out why the CHL continually makes this mistake over and over again.

Also, I said I didn't care about the lockout so long as the Bears were still alive...

So yeah...I really need hockey back. I have finally cracked.

Does well in Calgary, seems to do well in Edmonton and Vancouver.

Really? Do the Sarnia Sting and Kitchener Rangers and London Knights and Ottawa 67's not do ok? I ask because Pierre McGuire has taught me that these teams are very important.
