Cliffs: Rich Hammond has been a pretty good and objective blogger for the Kings, another example of the Kings dominating the internet (hello twitter). But he's an NHL employee, and he just interviewed Kevin Westgarth, who was very pro-NHLPA (obviously). NHL asked them to take the interview down, Kings refuse, and now Hammond has quit/been fired. Shame, Hammond is now going to write for the Orange County Register (the worst paper) about USC football (also the worst).
In other Kings news, notable crazy man/possible super villain Larry Ellison wants to buy AEG, which owns the Kings, Staples Center, part of the Lakers, and a ****ton of other stuff. Sounds like AEG is going to be worth somewhere around 10 billion dollars. Whaaaat.
Hmmm, this does pertain to my interest, since I liked Rich Hammond's info on how is everything going with the team, as well as the farm system which are the Manchester Monarchs, during those 2nd period intermissions when listening on the radio. Well, I already know that he left, which is a shame because the main reason I followed him on twitter is for new information on the team as well as AEG, now we don't have that anymore, for the moment, what a shame.

I do hope they hire a good replacement. hammond was reliable and updated constantly. had good fan communication. he will be missed.
Agreed.
