this is wrong, and you should check what happened when donald fehr was the head of the MLBPA and they played under an expired CBA. once the league starts without a CBA, the players hold a giant negotiating advantage. this nonsense that allan walsh and the players are tweeting about this is nauseating.

Both sides are to blame.

**** them all, but **** the players especially. None of the guys who've been signing extensions during this posturing interval seem to have any problem saying yes to getting massively overpaid and eating up cap space that keeps jobs available for their fringe comrades. Because, y'know, if guys like BizNasty are allowed to stand in front of the signs with #ThePlayers plastered all over it, that would suggest to me they should represent the interests of every single player, from Crosby to Sestito.

In real world terms, find me a successful business model where the labour retains over half of the company's revenue. Give me a ****ing break.

Honestly, I don't give a **** anymore. The NFL's back, Fehr and Bettman can go **** themselves and I'll be ready for Christmas.

Oh come on. Guys should say no to $100m cause it makes it harder for other players to make more money? (I hesitate to say "keep jobs" because there's still X amount of roster spots needed in the NHL every year no matter what)

That's COMMUNISM.

Only thing to blame here is human nature. Everyone wants more money, it's not an owners thing or a players thing.

I would never say no to someone throwing that amount of money at me. But it's hilarious to watch these guys squeeze their buddies out of jobs by signing the deals during this posturing interval, and then claim absolute solidarity.

They're all hypocrites.

What buddies? Who's being squeezed out of jobs? Yeah, if you're 37, teams aren't just going to hand you a check for 1.5M and think that you can still hack it anymore.

obv some of them have specific reasons for the answers:

e.g.

- Neely over Orr the guy conceded it was a more modern look at the franchise, Neely represented what the Bruins were all about, etc
- the KANGZ guy basically just 2011 SC trolled his answers, pretty sure it was written by sea weiss
- the Leafs guy (PPP) refused to give just 1 answer for each, but multiple choice with joke answers, etc
- some of them went hipster with the answers instead of making obv choices

so if your eyebrows are raised with any of the answers, then read the article, most go into depth explaining them and are pretty neat to read.

sooooo, thoughts?
i love this and agree with all the Detroit answers
