Jokinen is a great fit for Winnipeg. Brent ****ed up a lot of things in Calgary, but he definitely saved Jokinen's career and turned him into a 200 foot player, despite being on the wrong side of 30. Really, it's been a remarkable transformation to watch.

I'm happy for Olli. Jets landed the best pivot available in a weak class, but at a reasonable price and term imo. Very good deal. Good luck Joker.

You shouldn't be surprised. Puck Daddy's terrible, just from a different angle, that's all. Okay...maybe terrible is harsh, but I really don't enjoy his stuff.

Although I'd almost be inclined to agree with him on that one; what everyone missed last season while they were making fun of him for eating Big Macs and looking like an alien was the fact that Jokinen had a fantastic season.

I look at year-over-year attendance reports by team (its flaws and all), total SC's since '95 (4 vs. 3), the lack of giving a **** for NJD trolling by DET fans (including on here)...and I become confused at said resident NJD flag bearer's incessant venom directed at a team managed INFINITELY better than the Toronto's, Islander's and ESPECIALLY the Rangers over the recent years.

What doth breed such irrational contempt?
