The obvious fact that we are the 06/07/08 pens/hawks right now.

Historically, wingers have won almost exactly double the number of cups centers have won.

Also, the Oilers have all but announced Hall will be moving to center this year. He's done interviews saying he'd love to try it, and that he is working on faceoffs this summer.

yeah well good luck with that

he doesn't appear to have great vision, so moving him to center seems like a poor choice

really too bad the Flames jumped the gun and locked up Wideman. really would have preferred if the WANGZ blew all their cap space on him, Sammy, Tootoo, etc.

I know he had his injury problems, but the Flames are going to regret walking away from David Moss imo. He was a great versatile piece for them and well respected in that room. Didn't want to leave either, apparently. ****.

I'm happy for Brandon Prust, by all accounts he's a great guy. And yes, it's a ridiculous amount of money for what he does and it's an awful contract. I'm just happy for him, that's all.

My favourite signing of the day so far has been Jay McClement to Toronto, great pickup for the Leafs.

lolol I was just about to post "paging DevinLake"

I really wanted Allen to end up in Calgary. But instead, we'd rather bring back Sarich.
