think the coverage starts at noon EST (on TSN, etc at least), don't know if that's when free agency opens. i remember in the past the coverage used to start at some ungodly time in the morning, but nothing would happen for the first few hours bc teams have to pretend like they haven't tampered, etc. but in recent years i think they just picked it up later in the day to let some stuff happen first and cover it all later. so maybe that's what the deal was.

(i couldn't figure out what time free agency officially starts after a quick search, so if you know feel free)

Huge coup if Towson is somehow able to get Schenn and Couturier, but I can't imagine the Flyers are going to cave to that.

No way in hell that philly would trade couturier in a deal with nash unless it was straight up, which howson wouldnt do.

Salary cap, how does it work?

Schenn will be as good as Nash in 2 years for much less than $7.8M

hes getting really good I think. One of the toughest Dmen in the league.

#4 in checking and top 10 in blocked shots, among stuff & stuff.

plus we always overpay a bit in montreal, its just normal business

Emelin is good and all, but this just means he operates in a bad defensive system.

Sounds like you want us to sign him just so that you can earn some brownie points in the no longer relevant Crosby vs Ovechkin debate. "See guys, he only scored 120 points with Parise. That's the same pace he was already at with Kunitz and Dupuis!"

Keep grasping at those straws broski.

Seriously, 22 year old Brayden Schenn vs. 30 year old Rick "I'm not even that good right now" Nash, what tail pipes are you guys sucking on?

****ing seriously, if Parise doesn't kill himself after living in Pittsburgh for 3 years let alone 10 he deserves a metal.
