if david booth returns to form, that might help too. seems like vancouver's got the sedins and a bunch of guys who hurl pucks at the net. still, there's no reason to think they won't be a really good team next year.
i mean the homerun play might be to see if they can find a scorer with a contract that someone doesn't love anymore (or just sign someone like Doan maybe) to play with the Sedins, move Burrows down to Kesler's line full-time with Higgins/Booth, and knock everyone back a peg. find whoever to play 3rd line C (or just use Lapierre), maybe bring Salo back, and that's the team basically.
but yeah the problem is that Burrows, Booth, Higgins, Raymond, Hansen, etc are all about the same more or less. they can produce well enough in the regular season and get hot at times, but they aren't exactly difference makers on their own. the Sedins can be shut down, and if Kesler isn't doing anything (like most of this year) then gg.
