Hunter was our 2nd back and was averaging 5.2 YPC till he go hurt.

We had an UDFA who was a beast at G, so I'm not sure why you would mention draft position. You act like I'm going out on a limb saying our OL is better when that's always been the consensus. Will see how things work out with CK with Gore/LMJ/Hunter/Lattimore for a season+. Whatever the case, the difference between the two groups isn't really a big factor in the RW AND CK'S success.

Alex Smith playing QB at a passable level is really the only evidence you need to suggest the Niners OL is better.

Better chance Russell wins MVP than that Luck is the correct answer to this poll question.

Who cares who is gonna have the better stats? Did he ask who will be the better fantasy player? Luck is the of the 4 and probably will be every year of their careers. He'll be the best QB in the NFL at some point. Analyzing who will lead in each meaningless stat seems weird.

I don't know it Wilson had to scratch and claw, he was named the starter pretty early in preseason. I drafted him in fantasy, so I don't think it was much of a fight.

The thing about Kaep is he's a mental midget at heart who will never get over the pain of almost shipping a ring and falling short. Since Luck will get eaten by Watt and RG3 will continue to play ligament roulette, that leaves Wilson as The One.

thought SS was clearly joking since kaep led the league in WIM/60 last yr and the only thing that precluded him from shipping was blatant and coordinated ref riggage all super bowl, but especially on the final couple drives. I do agree that the intriguing potential psychological effect stems from having the refs taking away a earned super bowl title. Obviously, I hope it enrages him and motivates him. Seems that way since he started his insane offseason workout regimen about a week after black sunday.

hilarious again.

at least kaep isn't married to this:

he must not thought very much of his chances in the pros if he ended up with her.

i could careless what the guy looks like as long as he owns the seahags.

you might hit it, a star nfl player shouldn't touch that with a 50 foot poll especially one who should have some confidence in himself.

RUSS has a young denzel look going on and im personally a little jelly. He def could date a dime, but based on the CYE I watched, russ's choice to date an uggo could be evidence of character though.

RG3 is currently #4 in the voting. I'm sure you all think I'm a homer, so lets bet on this then.

We could do a simple FF-style bet: I get RG3, you can take whomever else, and I bet that RG3's per-start FF averages are better(using normal scoring of 4pts/pass TD, 6pts/rush TD, 1pt/10 rush yards, 1pt/25pass yards, -1/INT, -1/lost fumble).

Or if you would rather use some advanced stats I'd discuss that option too.

edit: Or I would take Redskins' total points in games RG3 starts vs Colts/49ers/Seahawks points in games those QBs start.

Of course the voters are factoring in RG3's potential missed time while your bet is a "per start average." To keep consistent with thread discussion you should be including games he doesn't start and taking a 0 for them.

If RG3's health could be guaranteed I'd snap-vote for him. As is, the bet you're offering is a sucker's bet. He needs to prove he can handle getting knocked around before I can crown his ass.

I believe RG3 will be healthy when he comes back. The issue for me is his style of playing. Maybe this consequence will change his operant behavior, but last yr he played wayyyy too recklessly and sustained way too many hits. I admire the warrior in him, but he just needs to slide, get out of bounds etc. Until I see his mentality change in that regard, I have to assume he'll keep getting injured.

fair points about health, I obv agree that RG3 is riskiest from a health standpoint. I think that when you're a homer for a team even when you're not trying to be biased its tough because so many of the home-town reportings are so biased. For example all-offseason I've been hearing this "The injury was actually the best thing that ever happened to him. He'll become a better pocket passer now and won't take as many risks." from all the articles I"ve been reading, but I see that view doesn't really match up with 2p2's objectivity.

It's kind of funny to read se regurgitate the talking heads rd rg3. He's not 'run dependent', he's actually a phenomenal passer who had to work with garcon being injured, an ancient moss, and aids for other receivers. His injury risk is way down from the begginning of last year. He learned how to slide and the acl injury he suffered actually occurred as he was on his way down into a slide. He's on track to start the year as well.

Basically I think rg3 has the best year out of all of them. Bold I know.
