Giants need to tank for the #1 pick. Best to keep Manning in for that.

We've seen too many teams spend way too much on quarterbacks based on a few games from a single season. See Rob Johnson and Matt Flynn as prime examples of this phenomenon.

Trubisky seems like Bortles in that he can rush and put up superficially inflated stats that don’t match up at all with how he is playing with the exception of that one game vs the bucs. The floor seems higher tho

I'm not even saying the upcoming draft. I'm saying ALL QBs are thrown into a pool - Mahomes, Mayfield, Rodgers, Lawrence, etc. Basically, in a world where the NFL and NCAA disband after the Super Bowl and a brand new league emerges where once you get a guy you have his exclusive rights for 20 years, I think the #1 pick is Lawrence.
