I think it's probably harder to pick which one of those four has a sophomore slump and fails. All 4 have pro bowl upside for this season easy. If two or three light it up you could have lots of pointless arguments about which one was better.

yeah I'm not just saying this to piss off SS, although that is a positive side effect

but I think the Rustler is the most overrated of the group and a notch below the rest

but that's just like, my opinion man

He's on track to start the year as well.

Basically I think rg3 has the best year out of all of them. Bold I know.
Oh he's obviously a great passer. And maybe (hopefully) he's learned how to avoid the big hits. I just think he has less room for error with his body type, which one of the smartest FOs in the league agrees with

Those routes were "easy" because defenses had to respect the threat of both RG3's downfield passing and his rushing ability so much. Although I will admit that another aspect may have been Shanny's scheme being innovative and the rest of the NFL not being 100% ready for it- I think this year will be very interesting to see what changes defenses make.

Agree that he shouldn't be "penalized" for this, but this creates an issue if he's trying to run less or if his injury causes him to be less of a running threat. Washington was also iirc pretty bad last year in predictable passing situations, which goes along with the idea that RG3 isn't, mentally, a fully developed pocket passing QB.

Of course, it remains to be seen how much that matters/how much RG3 will lose on his runs. Honestly, I think he could cut out a lot of risk without running much less if he just gets out of bounds with his positive gains. Last but not least, still very, very mad at Shanahan for leaving him in the game.

RG3 is an excellent passer but playing him on short recovery from his 2nd career ACL heading into his 2nd season seems really dumb.

Also this is clearly not a "per start poll"

Before RG3 gets injured he'd have a very good chance of leading this. Before Crabtree gets injured / Seahawks get Percy, Kaep would prob be #1.

This is like asking what is the best kind of ice cream cuz it's all pretty ****ing great.

I voted Kaep, but didn't think thru the Crabtree + Harvin situations.

Rustle Wimson > Kaep > Luck >>> RG3 cuz of teh injury. All are studs though.

It could also indicate that his aids receiving corps is so bad without garcon (who is only really good compared to everyone else on that roster) that when defenses don't have to really respect the dusl run threat they can smother the recievers. Not saying rg3 can't improve as a pocket passer, but I don't thini people give him enough credit for his passing because of how well he runs.
