Also did Indy fix it's OL problems? It's the big edge that the 9ers/Hawks have on the Indy/Wash.

Expecting Seattle to be the best team in the league.
The above is in terms of who will have the best season which factors in rosters and coaching.

I think Luck has the most value going forward.

Again, Luck had a decent lead in deep% and a huge lead in pass attempts. He was asked to do a ton in a complicated offense that threw down field (lower % passes) more often.

He's leaving that to return to the pro-style west coast system he ran in college...where he completed 71% of his passes his senior year.

You think Yardage is wrong? Rustler doesn't get too many attempts. RG3 is hurt. And LUck still has by far the worst running game of the 3.
Again, he got those yards on many more pass attempts and attempts down field. The attempts may stay, but the deep balls are likely gone. Yards will probably go down a fair bit, Comp% should go way up.

Kaep had the lead in deep field (30%) vs Luck's 26%. Kaep just didn't throw as often.

I still think Luck leads the 4 in passing yardage just b/c how much the other 3 run the ball including running with their QB.

Indy's OL projects to be much better than last year. Still probably middle of the pack overall tho, but that should be all Luck will need. Running game is better with Bradshaw too.

Should be Rustle next season, Luck long term

agree with Wookie's point, I expect all 4 to destroy based on whichever metric you want to choose

I think situation this year you have 1) Seattle 2) SF 3) Washington/Indy. I'd put SF > Seattle if Crab was there. OL: SF > Seattle > Washington >> Indy, RBs: 9ers > Seattle > Washington (close if RG3 can run as well) >> Indy, WRs: Seattle > Indy > SF > Washington.

the colts start the season with home games against oakland then miami and finish the season with home games against kansas city then jacksonville. in between they play 6/12 games against teams who had winning seasons last year and 3 of them are against houston and cincinnati

in short, luck will have the superior statistical year by a lot

passing yards (and pass attempts): luck > wilson > kaepernick > rg3
rushing yards: kaepernick > rg3 > wilson > luck
comp %: kaepernick > rg3 > wilson > luck
TDs: luck > wilson > rg3 > kaepernick
AY/A: kaepernick > wilson > rg3 > luck
int (lowest to highest): kaepernick > rg3 > wilson > luck

barring injury either wilson or kaepernick will be the NFL MVP, depending on who wins the division

We'll see what you say when Watt wins 9 of the next 10 MVPs while accumulating 190 sacks. Teddy Bridgewater sneaks one in during Jags undefeated 2016 season.

Edit: I know, 190 seems low for the next 10 years for Watt. But I guess he'll have a down year or two of 15 sacks.

yeah I mean you're right, Watt is a GOAT level defensive player and I like watching him play

maybe back in the day a defensive player could be the MVP but in today's NFL I'll take the best QB

i say this as a former offensive lineman myself

solidarity brother

LOL @ putting Seattle's RB's below SF's. Gore's a slightly better receiver than Lynch. Lynch is a much better runner.

He has every attribute you look for in a QB and has a bunch more experience than the others.
I respect this, and even as a Wilson fan I'd probably trade him for Luck straight up. However, Reggie Wayne isn't getting any younger, and the Colts didn't do as much to add receiving weapons as the Seahawks did. I still expect Luck to produce more yards, but Wilson is poised to be extremely productive in terms of wins, points, and advanced stats, and Wilson is a better runner.

It's our OL and Gore, Hunter, LaMichael and potentially Lattimore. I'm not going to lie, Marshawn > Gore, but the rest of our RBs are definitely better and our run blocking is definitely better than Seattle. I guess Turbin and Christine could be decent. CK is also a bigger rushing threat than RW if it comes down to that.

I mean, you can make assertions about SF's run blocking being better than Seattle's, but there's not much to back it up. Lynch ran for a better YPC. Turbin and James were similar in YPC, while Turbin was much more utilized and much more productive. And this is despite the fact that Seattle's RG for most of the year was a 7th round rookie who used to play DT. It's pretty reasonable to speculate that either he'll improve his play, or he'll be replaced by one of the three guys on the roster more talented than him who'll be coming back from injury.

Or, if you want to continue to assert that SF's run blocking is still superior to Seattle's, that's a concession that your RB stable is much less talented than that of Seattle.

Snap take christine michael over james/hunter/lattimore. Prob take him over any RB in the NFCW in 2014+ when gore and lynch are breaking down.
