What's crazy is that if by some miracle FSU and OSU lose, I think you'd be more likely to see Alabama in the championship game in a rematch against Auburn than if Missouri happens to win. The idea of an all SEC title game would put people off unless it was Alabama/Auburn, particularly given how that game went.

Duke will score, but on offense FSU will take whatever they want with brute force.

Not sure if anyone mentioned how easy Florida State's strength of schedule is. Sagarin (who hates OSU) has Ohio State 61, and FSU 66 (yet FSU is #1 on his rankings).

That's why comparing FSU and OSU is apples to apples and it's easy to see why FSU should be #3 on nobody's ballot. They clocked everyone, including their toughest opponent on the road.

I don't understand Sagarin's BCS poll at all. How do the following rankings make sense in a poll where margin of victory isn't included and all that matters is record and SOS?

ND State 11-0 #121 SOS, #32 ranked

FSU has housed mostly everyone they played for sure. But, Ohio State seems to have some type of risk averse D Coordinator for some reason (Fickle) because OSU jumps out to early leads, big leads (their 1st quarter scoring is unreal), and Fickle plays what seems like, but isn't, prevent defense from that point on.

Don't get me wrong, we have DBs that are lost at times, and one that thinks he's NFL material that will be waiting a long time to hear his name called.

OSU's defense is pretty bad. Illinois put up 35 on them, the most they scored in a conference game. (It was 47-35 at one point, so it's not like they were garbage points.) Cal scored 34, the most points they put up all season. (It was 31-20 at the half, so again, against the OSU starters.) Northwestern put up 30, Michigan 41. Ugly.

osu should be able to take advantage on offense and special teams where i doubt msu can do the same to osu defense

Looks like it was 28-7 after Illinois scored their first TD. Anyway, even with a prevent you should tighten up in the red zone. OSU presumably never had a lead that allowed them to put their scrubs in but still Illinois was able to pile up points.

Ohio State should be playing Auburn in the National Championship (IF OSU beats MSU which I'm not saying is a lock).

I mean, Ohio State has a stronger SOS than FSU. Plus, seriously, do Ohio State haters really care if Ohio State beats FSU?

I guarantee you that no one gives Ohio State credit if they beat FSU...and even if we played Auburn, the haters would say Auburn got lucky against Alabama, and that Alabama would have beaten us had that 1 second not been reestablished.

Okay, I changed my mind, OSU vs. Alabama because Auburn got a cheap one.

Lastly, give Michigan, and Hoke some freaking credit. I hate that turd of a coach, I assure you, and hate that team up North even more, but FINALLY Michigan gets up for the rivalry...it's been a while.
