None of those SEC teams with losing records would lose to some second tier team like Iowa or Georgia Southern.

SEC haters should be rooting ardently for a tOSU choke or, better, for Auburn to vault over them even if they beat MSU. There's finally a great opportunity for the SEC's streak to be legitimately crushed on the field, and people seem to be rooting for it not to happen.

If Auburn gets crushed by UCF in the Sugar, wouldn't that also serve its purpose?

I accept that. Do his powers work in the BCS Title Game?

Can anyone tell me which bowls we're talking about here? "Chartered Financial Analyst" Bowl?

The Chick-Fil-A Bowl, formerly the Peach Bowl and in the future the Chick-Fil-A Peach Bowl. It is an ACC vs. SEC Bowl with the highest choice of ACC teams after the BCS gets its pick against SEC #5 (6 really since the SEC gets 2 BCS teams) on New Year's Eve at 8 pm in the Georgia Dome in Atlanta, Georgia.

I see. How long until they work the word "Milkshake" and possibly "Handspun" into that name?

Also, pretty sure Zaxby's would make a better bowl.

What about the Russel Athletic Bowl?

Early line on the title game is FSU -11 vs. Ohio State. Seems about right to me, maybe 1-2 points too high.

Zaxby's would make a great bowl. If this bowl passes on Duke it will be the first compelling case for boycotting CFA that I have ever heard.

The Russell Athletic Bowl is in orlando on the 28th. orlando seems ok, but its more than 5 miles from my house and the georgia dome isn't. its also against the AAC and I'm not entirely sure who is in that conference.

The Sun Bowl, however, is in El Paso on New Year's Eve day. This is unacceptable since I don't want to spend NYE in a barfight in Juarez with a cartel that will likely kill my friends and I in a disgustingly violent act. I also don't know how to get to Juarez, I mean El Paso, in any convenient way.

What would FSU/Auburn and FSU/Missouri look like? And aside from @ Clemson has FSU been favored by less than 20 all year?

What possible teams play ASU/Stanford winner in Rose if MSU gets destroyed and falls out of top 14?

Figure one of Baylor, OKST end up at Fiesta.

Yeah, the Big 12 champion (who I expect will be OK St) goes to the Fiesta. Still need four at-larges; I was figuring Alabama, Baylor, NIU, and maybe Clemson?

So Alabama might be the actual answer in this case, since Auburn would go to the Sugar Bowl.

EAST LANSING, Mich. -- Michigan State coach Mark Dantonio believes that no matter which team wins the Big Ten title on Saturday, the winner should be considered for a berth in the Vizio BCS National Championship.

No. 2 Ohio State is favored over the No. 10 Spartans, and if the Buckeyes were to win -- with two undefeated seasons and a Big Ten title -- Urban Meyer's squad would be an understandable pick to play for the national title.

Dantonio agrees with that sentiment.

"I do believe, should Ohio State win, that they should represent in the national championship game," Dantonio said. "I think that when you have an undefeated football team, that's the right thing to do. ... That's my tip of the hat to Ohio State."

But Dantonio also said he doesn't understand why the Spartans wouldn't be in contention for a spot in the title game if they were to beat the Buckeyes, assuming other chips fell in their favor as well.

"Why not us, if certain scenarios take place, which obviously last weekend you saw a lot of scenarios take place," Dantonio said. "There are no givens in college football. Anybody can rise up to beat someone else. That ball bounces a lot of different ways.

"The fact of the matter is we're 11-1 right now, we're playing in a championship environment. And we'll move from there. Don't limit yourself. Dream big. That's what I tell my football team."

-17 vs. Maryland
-12 at Pitt

The Pitt line is especially funny, it would be what, 30+ now?

So if the Chaos scenario happens, is it Missouri vs Alabama in the National Championship?

Florida St. loses to Duke
Ohio St. loses to Michigan St.
Auburn loses to Missouri
Alabama Idle
Missouri beats Auburn
OK St. loses to Oklahoma
Stanford loses to Ariz St.
SC Idle
Baylor loses to Texas
Michigan St. beats Ohio St.

#1 Missouri (12-1)
#2 Alabama (11-1)
#3 Michigan St. (12-1)
#4 Florida St. (12-1)
#5 Ohio St. (12-1)
#6 Auburn (11-2)
#7 South Carolina (10-2)
#8 Arizona St. (11-2)
#9 Oregon (10-2)
#10 Clemson (10-2)

Is there anyway there isn't an All-SEC National Championship if FSU and OSU both lose?
