Urbz with a month vs. Jameis-less FSU would be OSU +8ish. Lol at 17, lol the South.

the only thing that worries me about FSU is what happened to Oregon

you get in a big game w/ a tough opponet that runs it down your throat and when you can't establish a line of scrimmage 3 quarters into the game your down feel like you can't win and you got guys on your sideline crying for a quarter and a half.

all i am saying is no one has slapped FSU in the face yet to see how they would respond

when Oregon and Baylor were slapped in the face they both backed down. I think clearly FSU is better then Baylor and Oregon but they all have in common that they have gona a long way (and FSU all year) with out really being slapped in the face.

Absolutely not true. You could give Urban a week, a month, or a year and Auburn still would rush for a minimum of 250 yards against tOSU. There is nothing to "expose." Auburn is elite on special teams and elite at running the ball. Everything else is a question mark. (FWIW, the 2010 team wasn't any better on defense than the 2013 Auburn team.) tOSU might outscore Auburn. That's a possibility for any good team.

In any case, I agree that tOSU plays FSU if it beats lolsparty.

tOSU would rush for 250 against AU too.

since Duke can't really slap FSU around physicially

you could make an argument that FSU will go all year w/o playing a defense that can really smack them around add to that a month off for a coach like Urban to prepare and you could have a recipe for a bigger then most think let down

Well, I think that any good running team will rack up yards on Auburn's defense. The defense is average on a good day and frequently poor. I'll put it this way. Considering the competition, the Alabama game was one of Auburn's best defensive games.

Worst possible matchup for Auburn is a running quarterback and big receivers. Missouri is very likely to score 30+ against Auburn.

Nope, 2002 was worse. Ohio State needed extensive riggage and a detonated knee to inexplicably beat a Miami team with like 14 future NFLers.

I think that i have been saying it all day

This week its AU deserves a NC bid
Next week it will be MIZZOU deserves a bid (cause they beat AU)
I wouldn't be surprised if MIZZOU killed them too cause AU lack of ability to throw the ball if they fall down 14 or 17 point trailage

That's not why I'm worried about Missouri. Auburn came from 14 down to beat Bama without the benefit of a single turnover. Scoring quickly is not a problem. For clock management purposes, Auburn plays so fast that it might as well be throwing the ball.

FSU -300 to win it all in Vegas. Equates to about a 9 point title game spread, assuming the Duke win is a given.

I wonder if the Jameis issue is driving the line down at all. Probably not too much.

Palo can bet all the money he won on Romney >300 EVs on that line and get a second and even more invisible yacht.

Well it's also a merged line between OSU/Auburn/Mizzou.

I assume the line has priced in the conventional wisdom that Jameis won't be charged, but it'll still get bumped down a bit if and when that announcement is made.

Yes. The Jameis issue is driving the line down 10 points from what the lolSouth thinks it "should" be.

I guess the SEC has adopted FSU as an honorary member right around the time all of the computer ranking systems and sportsbooks:

1) Nearly universally agreed that FSU was the best team
2) But also underrated them by 9-14 points a game for no obvious reason

It's almost as if you have forgotten that the SEC has won 9 BCS championships versus 1 for the Big Ten.
