Re-did list so we can vote for more than one and took out shoe-ins and replaced with those who can lead to real debate. (Mostly)

Don't know if I like Big Ben on the list but a couple of friends have made decent arguments for him to me so I am curious what people think.

I voted for everyone but Wallace and Billups.

If I were voting, I wouldn't vote Hill, T-Mac, or Vince. I think they'll get in, though. Hill most likely out of those 3, though, cuz college and everyone loves him.

hmm.. T-mac might not make it cuz of all the playoffs fail.

No way Carter should be in. His numbers aren't even that great, never got anywhere in the playoffs, mediocre longevity/injury history (I also would bet he falls off faster than Dirk, Pierce, etc... as his game depends on athleticism). Quitting on his team in Toronto won't be forgotten by voters either IMO.

I hope you're right, but I just think voters are gonna say "25/5/4 8 AS games" and he'll eventually get in.

he made it to the finals. not mediocre longevity whatsoever - or injury problems. also has compiled very good total point stats.

edit: the only people w/ more points than him active right now are shaq, ai, kobe, kg, ray, dunc, dirk, pierce, and tmac. he's neck and neck with tmac. all those guys aside from tmac are surefire HoFers.

Wallace will end his career as Top 20 blocks all time, Top 30 rebounds, Top 100 steals, 3rd highest defensive rating in history as of now, 15th all-time defensive win shares, 4-time defensive player of the year

and no one will care. He had a sick 4 or 5 year peak. That's not enough.

also possibly the worst offensive player ever and his team did not get worse in any way when he left, and we all know what happened with Chicago

When did Carter make it to the finals exactly? He made it to the 2nd round twice. Once was on a Kidd led team. As a "franchise" player, he won exactly one playoff series.

Edit to add: He played less than 50 games 3 times, and 80+ twice in 11 years. Also, since when is total points everything? Stackhouse has almost as many points, but no one would dream of counting him in.

Love VC but no way he makes it and it isn't even close unless he massively improves which is going to be rare at his age or joins a team that wins 2-3 titles and he's the leader which would also be almost impossible unless he joined like Cleveland or something seeing that the Lakers/Boston probally want nothing to do with him.
