I think if USA posters here actually watched soccer/football for longer than two weeks every 4 years, they wouldn't be getting trolled as hard. However, still think USA had an admirable performance throughout this tourney, better than most.

posters like cruizn and nut and others have taken it to far, but there have been a lot of casual USA posters that have made some EURO fans irate for whatever reason

Strong effort for USA#1 on the whole given a pretty brutal schedule of games and some unfortunate injuries. Howard was a warrior. Obviously this thread is inevitable because lolcruizn but I'm an expat in Europe and every level-headed person here is pretty much saying we represented ourselves well, so not even the least bit rustled.

Really don't understand it? The US is a fun team to get behind? They play the game in a great spirit; try to play ball as best they can; never give up; have awesome travelling support.

This European says USA #1 anyway. Some game tonight.

LOL that this is a thread. USA#1 winning would've been a pretty sweet start to the 4th of July weekend. But hey, I'm a few beers deep about to watch my favorite baseball team in anticipation of a 5 day weekend. Things could be much worse here in the land of FREEDOM and OPPORTUNITY.
