It can as it is only a 2 state game which is probably their thinking (with NZ for all intents and purposes a Qld team as based on the gold coast) compared to AFL being played in all 6 states and requiring to go through all the different states' border controls.

Looking at a really good handegg (AFL) season this year I think with a lot of teams up the top that weren't expected early on.

2 NRL games in Vegas today, including my team. Not sure what I think about it - I'm annoyed I cant go to my team's opener and I do think the NRL is delusional if they think that somehow the game is going to take off over there, but I guess I can't blame them for trying something different

hopefully the narrower pitch and tiny in goals won't make the game too different

watching locally right now. seems like everything is going well - decent turnout fan-wise and the players seem to be OK with the the pitch & setup from the interviews I heard.

Watching the 2nd game - I don't know much about NRL but it seems like the first score was a horrific toss interception return for a score. And that same team (Brisbane) is being shutout late 1st half. I'm guessing that is a disgrace if u r a Brisbane fan?
