I definitely did not see that Muchova win coming. I had Ash winning it all.
It's looking like Osaka-Serena is essentially the final.
I loved how .jpeg picked apart Svitolina but Brady is the better player here. We'll see who's got the WIM. Jpeg has a Fognini-esque ability to scramble and play patient long rallies and then all of a sudden if she gets an opportunity she can add an extra 20mph to her groundies on either side without looking like she's trying any harder.
The recorded crowd noise really starting to tilt the **** out of me. Whoever is pressing the button keeps accidentally pressing it in the middle of points. Just get rid of that **** everyone can see the empty stadium, it's weird to begin with.

Rafa just crushing it. If he can beat Tsitsipas, Medvedev and Djokovic to win this thing it would be just incredible. And it would more than likely lock up the all-time majors record for him. I don’t think he’s gonna do it but it would be amazing.
I think Nadal playing his best is the closest we have ever seen to an unbeatable tennis player.
It's amazing how many points follow the Nadal forehand - Tsitsipas backhand pattern. Tsitsipas keeps bashing his backhand harder and cleaner and harder and cleaner... and eventually he almost hits it too fast and Nadal can just flick it up the line for an easy winner or an easy put away after coming to net.
Insane that Tsitsipas has found his way back into this match. Nadal lost 1 point on serve in the third set before the tiebreaker, missed 2 overheads and had 2 more unforced errors in the tiebreaker, and now Tsitsipas looks like the fresher player going into the 5th.
is it weird that serena didn't win way more slams? i mean it's not like there's been a rogers/rafa/djoker/etc thing going on the women's side these last couple decades, and they've won 57 and counting
