Quite the night with that crazy drunk lady flipping off Nadal and yelling ''Wanker'' and ''Hurry you OCD f*ck'' at him lol

Also Fognini and Caruso having to be separated after the match, Fognini called him a lucky b*tch in Spanish during the match thinking Caruso wouldn't understand it but he did

That Nadal heckler was amazing. Five stars.

I didn't hear what the lady said but I saw the finger, that's hilarious. Nadal just seemed amused by it, and then hit an ace.

Fog and Caruso have both said they're good friends, so I doubt Fog wouldn't know which languages Caruso speaks. I feel like that was a standard Fog post-match chat, nothing much to see there.

Some good **** tonight: Shapo-FAA, Thiem-Kyrgios. Ann Li first up on RLA, which is bizarre as there's at least 3 other matches that deserve to be on RLA more than that one, but whatever. I love Li's game and she has that rare mental strength and composure. She made the final of the warmup last week, then was denied the chance to play her first WTA final because the WTA tour is run by incompetent fools. I'm not sold on Gauff yet, I feel like Li has the highest potential of all the younger USA women.

Rumours of a snap Victoria lockdown for COVID reasons (an issue with the hotel quarantine system) which would mean no crowds at tennis from tomorrow if true. Which would be a shame.

Krygios not on RLA is good for him and bad for Thiem. Easier to get tickets for that walkup court than either RLA or MCA.

Crowds have been down anyway. Tickets are readily available. People in Melbourne are still a little leery about being around groups of people.

Lockdown confirmed for hopefully 5 days. Would mean crowds for semi-finals onwards if things work well.

Crowds obviously down compared to usual or even what is allowed this year, but part of that is also the rules about being on site. Melbourne Park is sectioned off into a few sections which ruins what a lot of people including me would normally do which is to buy tickets to watch Nadal at night primetime, but wander around during the day watching a heap of random matches instead of being locked into a few early womens singles games on RLA only.

When are they going to rename the MCA?

Pretty poor they are still honouring her.

Yup spot on.

Basically saying he shouldn’t be allowed to under arm serve as it’s disrespectful. It’s like come on, get a grip.

From last match and this seems like a bit of a headcase but then for a top athlete not annoying. Lol sample size and he is doing well now of course.

Djokovic is injured and in big trouble. If the pain killers don’t kick in he’s done.

Probably make a full recovery as per usual.

Hate why he has to pretend to be injured all the time.

Good thing they got rid of the crowd. The stadium was full of asshats not rooting for either player and being idiots just for the heck of it.

Fritz showing that classic american WIL. I've never understood the Fritz hype. He's the next Querrey.

Novax was always going to beat him. I think novax may do **** like that to try and keep things interesting for the fans.

Oh he’s struggling, might be going out here. Then starts trying again.
