19yo Iga Swiatek wins in Adelaide, up to a career high ranking of 15. I hope she meets Barty in the 4th round at Roland Garros, battle of the last two French Open winners.

Watching Murray-Haase now. Murray is shouting random **** to his box after almost every point and in between 1st and 2nd serves, even more than he used to.

Murray gets through in 3. I knew it would be possibly the lowest quality match of the tournament but I couldn't resist. Haase's entire strategy was to try to setup a drop shot on every point, which he would then usually execute rather poorly. Didn't see the 1st set but I don't how the hell he won it 6-2.

Opelka up next, haven't seen him play for a while.

It’s sad really, he just isn’t going to get back to where he was/should be if he didn’t get injured.

Medvedev and Zverev both lose in straight sets in the first round of ATP Rotterdam. Medvedev could have made it to number 2 in the world if he just made it to the final.

Nishikori taking out FAA and De Minaur. He's back!

Top half of the draw is a **** show. If Davidovich Fokina can hang to his set and break lead, there won't be any seeds making it to R2.

1. Play like a top75 player
2. Play every week the shittiest ATP 250 on calendar to score points against bad players and steal the Kazaksthan or Singapour juicy cash prize
3. Become a top 32 ATP ranked player and grab that easy and sweet Grand slam 2nd/3rd turn money

Bonus lifestyle points : be french and **** a lot of WTA chicks all year long

Yeah he is a Grade A dbag. Goes to show that even very average players like Paire can make a decent living.

39 Slams: 1R (12), 2R (16), 3R (7), 4R (4)
55 Masters: 1R (25), 2R (21), 3R (8), SF (1)

He's lucky he is so often seeded at slams, like 24-32, that he avoids other seeds for at least 2 rounds. Hopefully the idiot is on the way out.

If Paire spent half as much time working on his game as he does his beard he'd be top 10.

Nice win for Rublev, dude is so clean and solid from the baseline. There's a very short list of guys who can beat him when he's playing well.

Clara Tauson won Lyon without dropping a set, in her 3rd WTA main draw. The draw was a mess, qualifier vs qualifier final. She's got a nice serve, we'll see how she progresses.

Rooting for a Fed-Millman QF in Doha, those two have had some epic matches. Millman is in **** form though and he'll have to beat Coric first.

Karatsev got a WC and he's playing some local yokel and then Thiem.

The Marseille tournament has replaced fans with what appears to be cardboard cutouts of random people. This is easily the dumbest thing I've ever seen. Even dumber than fake crowd noise.

Coric withdrawn, but Millman lost to Basilashvili

Maybe you don't watch much sport and haven't seen this at other sports. It's a way for fans to spend $20 and support their favourite clubs or events.

Who the hell loses to Basilashvili these days. Millman I guess. First top 50 win for Basilashvili since atp cup last year. I don't know what his ranking would be without the freeze but probably 200+.

Btw, maybe anyone know any site that would count 52-week ATP rating, without all that points from 2019 and halved points? I tried to google, but failed

I haven't seen a site that's tracking rankings using the standard system. The closest thing I've seen is this tweet posted after AO for top 100 WTA rankings without frozen points:

Clara Burel getting screwed the hardest according to this calculation. She would've been 148 spots higher.

Current junior #1 and 2019 RG junior champ Holger Rune got through qualies and now got his first ATP main draw win in Santiago. Plays Benoit Paire next, so a good chance for his 2nd main draw win.

It's amazing how many tennis commentators don't understand what the term inside-out means. When a player hits an outside-out winner they say inside-out like 90% of the time.

Can you describe the difference please, I'm confused at the exact shots being referenced. I'm pretty sure I know what an inside out shot is, so what's the outside-out shot being incorrectly labelled?

Went on the yootoobz to see if there was a good demo of the terms but apparently no one uses the term outside out anymore so maybe I'm just old and dumb.
