Women’s tennis is weird. There aren’t any ruthless consistent winners. I mean it’s there, it’s open someone could win 20 and dominate the sport for the next decade.

Every couple of slams there’s someone who is unbeatable who then goes onto do nothing.

Still waiting for the Next Gen to make their mark. I guess nothing will be changing in the next 2-3 years. Imagine if Fed comes back and is actually competitive against the younger players. Now wonder Andy Murray thinks he has a chance to make a comeback.

Nadal looked pretty fire that last set. Big tournament win for him considering how shaky his clay season has been.

In Novak's on court speech after the match he said, "Me, Rafa & Roger are the next gen."

Amazing

Update- Sinner went on to win that match.

Then today he lost to world number 125, some French guy I've never heard of.

Thiem lost to #49 Cameron Norrie.

Everyone young sucks.

Federer is past it, especially on clay. But I don’t see anyone making sufficient inroads into the dominance of Nadal and Djokovic, but they’re about 5 years younger than Roger.

Coco Gauff into the WTA250 final in Parma and up to a career high #26 (#25 if she wins the final v Wang/Stephens). Coco needs to get above Madison Keys (#24) after the French Open to qualify for the Olympics. Keys is defending a 2019 QF (360 points) at Roland Garros while Coco is only defending a 2R (45 points), so the pressure is on Keys to limit how many points she loses, or to go deep again and hope that Coco bombs early.

Alcaraz wins his 4th challenger and breaks into the top 100, 2 weeks after turning 18. Holger Rune also just turned 18, which means there's no one under 18 in the atp top 500 now.

Roland Garros PEEHS

I learned a few things from doing the season long PEEHS. I've kept the wording of the questions shorter and simpler, and made a slight tweak to the scoring system. There will be 3 questions revealed after every round.

Qualies starts tomorrow, main draw starts sunday.

Agreed. He should've been spending the whole year getting an edge on grass for his last shot at a Wimbledon.
