I wonder how yesterday's CDC reversal of COVID guidance will impact State's decision on foreigners. The timing of CDC decision seems a bit suspicious, now that US Open is 2 weeks away.

Fun Roger Federer stat I just discovered looking at his slam results.

In his first 20 slam finals, the only person who had beaten him in a finals was Rafa Nadal. In a world without Nadal, Fed might've been 20-0 in slam finals after Wimbledon 2009. Just absurd dominance up to that point.

Why doesn't Djokovic fly into Mexico and drive up from there? The existing ban only applies to air travel, according to the sources I've seen. US Open has no restriction. McEnroe and 50,000 signatories would be happy.

Bahamas and boat would be another option.

Canada has similar rules as US for air travel. That's why he didn't play Montreal.

How many countries still have travel bans like US? I know Canada does, France and UK obviously do not. Australia I guess but I hear that might be changing.

I'm afraid Osaka may be done at the highest level she reached. She just doesn't seem to have a passion for the game anymore. Don't know if she ever did. She was just so talented at one point that it probably didn't matter.

i don't watch much tennis but this is awesome watching the GOAT goat it up (and with another GOAT in the stands rooting her on)
