For someone that doesn't like doing mandatory media, Osaka sure does a lot of voluntary media.

She's full of **** I think. If she sits out the US Open I'll be more likely to believe her. Not just events she has little chance of winning.

I know Nick Kyrgios doing cameo bookings is fine and an easy way to make money, but I still think it's a super low rent and hacky thing for a supposedly elite athlete to do.

I don't have a problem with it. I'm surprised more tennis players don't do it. Good way to connect with fans and make a little money as well.

Late night Olympic tennis starts tomorrow

Djoker got it in the bag unless he pegs a line judge in the throat. Hoping for a totally random women's gold medal winner like Puig 2016.

lol I've always hated Fritz. Such a punchable face and a terrible attitude.

Two of the young guns featured in the op looking for their first ATP titles.

1. Brandon Nakashima vs Cam Norrie in Los Cabos. Nakashima beat the USA old gaurd Querrey and Isner on the way to the final. He leads the H2H with Norrie 1-0.

2. Carlos Alcaraz vs Richard Gasquet in Umag. Alcaraz beat the #3 and #1 seeds the last two matches.

My hopes are very much alive. Top 3 seeds out. Only one slam winner in the QF.

Novak was set and break up, now he's 0:3 down with 2 breaks in the decider vs Zverev

Nice to see Zverev starting to reach his potential. He was very impressive from down a break in the second. Hopefully they’ll have a rematch at the US Open.

Didn’t think he had it in him. I still thought he’d bottle it with being 5-1 up in the third. He may have (should) got over the nerves after the US final.

I wonder if Novak regrets playing singles and mixed doubles now.

People are talking about this but I highly doubt it made any difference. Zevrev just played better today.

I was thinking of it as a hindrance more of a concentration distraction than a physical stamina issue, although I could still be wrong, of course.

Year of Zverev the Younger in progress? He gonna do anything at the US Open?

Yeah he could make a deep run. The draw always matters. I might even put him as the second favorite now. Slightly ahead of Tsitsipas. Thiem seems out of it and I don’t think at this point Rafa has a shot. Maybe Berrettini.

Andy has 2 singles gold.

Thats super impressive considering the 4 year gap. Fed should have beat him in 2012.

I loaded up on Novax winning the US Open, so I hope he's got all his losses out of his system.

I saw clips of him throwing his racket and couldn't believe he's back to being an idiot. Sort of makes me want to try to cash out my bets.

I was 90 percent sure he was going to win Wimbledon. I knew the US Open wasn't going to be a cakewalk like that and prior to the Olympics I put his chances to win the US Open at about 70 percent. I still think he'll win it but it could be tough. I wouldn't put a lot of money on it.

Here for the lolvax.

Also Nakashima into his 2nd final in consecutive weeks, this one in Atlanta. He'll play Isner or Fritz for anotherd shot at his first title. He beat Isner last week, lost to Fritz at Wimby. Nakashima for thread title 2022?

Couldn't happen to a better guy. I know most won't agree but screwing that poor girl out of what will surely be her only chance at an Olympic medal is unforgivable.

omg Jack Sock (world 192) won a tour level match.

Sort of a lame win, though-- he lost the first set and then the other guy (world 56 Nishioka) retired in the 2nd.
