He was a decent first serve away from winning a slam last year.

He's still better than all but 2 in the world, nice refreshing break and come back fully fit and raring to go. One last blast for the olympics and Wimbledon.

Aus Open delayed a few weeks to Feb 8

Qualifiers to happen early January in Qatar. Then everyone does two weeks hard quarantine in Melbourne, then a couple 250s and then game on.

Reasonable outcome. Tennis Aus should try and set up some post AO events around Aus to exploit the fact we can have crowds at most stops.

Couple of 250s and ATP Cup right before (I wonder if they have single sign up list for 250s or not)

2 years is a long time when you're nearly 40. Think Wimbledon is still worth a crack but he def wont be third in the world anymore imo.

I do somewhat agree and it’ll be difficult over 5 sets. Still smashes the first week of a slam the way the big 3 do which helps.

I’m definitively blinded by my man crush on the bloke though
