Alliassime doubled faulted 11 times against Cilic and of course, lost in straights. Giving up more that a point a game on serve is not a recipe for success although Cilic did play well.

This tourney has been delivering the lols though...

As the below prematch picture was taken the announcer deadpanned "That's one for the mantle piece."

This match was beyond outstanding. At one point in the 1st set Kyrgios had 16 winners to 1 error and was playing some of the most incredible shots and points you will ever see. He had a careers worth of highlights in the 1st set alone. Watch this match if you can.

Tsitsipas was 39/11 winners/errors and lost, which doesn't even seem possible. Kyrgios was 43/25 and I'd bet more than half those errors were in the 2nd set where he predictably punted it away. Even the match stats were an anomaly. Both players were exactly tied in total pts won, 1st serve%, 1st serve% won, 2nd serve% won and serve pts won.
