ATP/WTA 2019: The Year Of Zverev The Younger - Page 35 - Sporting Events and Fantasy Sports

Anyone ever played padel? I'd never heard of this sport until today, but it looks like fun. I guess it's like cross between tennis and racquetball. Apparently it's popular in Spain and Argentina. The current women's #1 is former WTA top 50 player Marta Marrero.

I think a guy like Santoro would've been a boss at this.

Nicole Gibbs recovering from surgery where cancer in her mouth was removed for anyone that cares. I follow her on insta and she posts occasional updates from hospital. Success rate of removal of this type of cancer fairly high and she's in good spirits. She had this bump in roof of her mouth for a few years then went to a dental check up and dude was like you need to get that checked. Fortunate.

Novak playing for his 4th straight Grand Slam trophy, and if he wins I think he becomes the first man to win each GS at least twice. (Nadal is missing a 2nd Aussie, Fed a 2nd Roland).

That said, I think this year it's gonna be someone other than Novak or Rafa. I'm guessing we finally get a new first time Grand Slam winner, which I don't think has happened since 2014 (Wawrinka in Australia and then Cilic in New York).

Tomljanovic's arsenal is better than Halep's, and she won the 2nd set in convincing fashion... then lost a string of 3rd set games in a row(totally disinterested/defeated/pouting), before breaking Halep when down 5-0 in the 3rd, then holding serve before ultimately losing the set 6-2

at one point early in the 2nd set Halep was -10000
