The 2019 College football playoffs: OU vs LSU and Ohio st vs Clemson - Sporting Events and Fantasy Sports

Surprised we don’t have a thread up yet. It’s tomorrow after all. Let’s get hyped or something.

Don’t think Ou has much of a chance the way LSU is playing and how ****ing unreal good Burrow has been this year. Ou is going to have to play dominant on defense to even stand a chance I think. But dominant and defense haven’t been two words to describe Ou recently.

Clemson vs Ohio st is weird because Clemson hasn’t played anyone this year. But they’re still Clemson and I still think they are very very good. Lol at doubting this team just because their schedule was trash. I could see Clemson blowing out Ohio st just like last time they met.

None of LSU, or OSU or Clemson being NC champs would surprise me.

Imo this ended up being a perfect bracket. LSU earned #1 and OU is not at the level of the other 3.

Clemson and OSU are both potentially as good as LSU, so it looks like we are going to get an awesome OSU/Clemson game and an awesome NC matchup.

It wouldn't hurt my feelings though if OSU blows out Clemson. Just because Dabo went on his irrational rant.... Otherwise I am happy with some good games.

OU's defense improved from abysmal to thoroughly average (that's a compliment) this year, which wasn't surprising since basically everybody returned... not sure how all the suspensions will affect this though.

People are underrating how insanely good their offense is, but I think people are also reading too much into LSU giving up a bunch of yards in games where they were up 20+ the whole way

LSU is the favorite, should be, and might win by a zillion, but I think OU wins more than the moneyline says they do

Actually think last year's Oklahoma team had a better chance to win their playoff game as a 2TD dog than this year's team does. Don't see them getting almost any stops, but also don't think the offense has the horsepower to get like 6 TD on 9 possessions against LSU

As an OSU hater, I pretty much root for them to fail at every opportunity. But I don't think there's a guy in college football that I despise more than Dabo Swinney. OSU by a million, please.

I've got LSU over OSU in title game prop at +350. Also took some OU today outright +475. Sooners been getting there a lot and the semi is coming where they don't lose. Could be now. Pretty good price. Hurts wildcard factor??

I hate Clemson.
I hate Ohio State more.
I hate LSU more than any other college program.
I don't know much about OU--haven't even seen them play.

I think OU will move the ball, and with a couple of D starters out vs. LSU's offense, they will need to do that and avoid turnovers to win. The numbers suggest this line is highly inflated, but LSU wins this game... I'll say 41-31.

Didn't even hear that about the players and money. He had some whiny comments this year, yes, and I was surprised, but I didn't think it was that bad. He's the real deal program builder. As good as anybody ever, apparently.
