He sorta gets on my nerves but I feel like I have to root for him since he's a NC guy and that's where I'm from. But I really want Nadal to win as well to get closer to Fed in majors won. I think it's gonna be an Isner-Djokovic final.

I have a hard time watching Ostapenko because of her annoying service squeak.

Re: ATP/WTA 2018: The Year of the Dimitrov

I pick Nadal and Andersen which would lead to a rematch of last year's US Open final. Insert obligatory notation that I'm always wrong here.

Recall that that was the year Fed and Nadal were lined to up play in the semi finals, except Delpo beat Fed.

The side Andersen came out of was a sewer grate-- the quarters were him, Schwartzman, Carrena-busta, and San Querry.

Vak has played no one really good so far, whilst Nadal got there over Delpo near his best. Gotta go with Nadal. Wouldn't write off Isner either, Anderson can go cold at times.

The South African takes the first set over the deplorable American. I wish Die Antwoord were in the stands.

They really should just play this best of 3.

Can't they just auto-skip to the tiebreakers?

Isner had multiple break points in set 1.

And Anderson had a set point on Isner's serve. Still feels kind of inevitable

This is supremely boring tennis.

The Wimbledon Competition Committee should adopt an impromptu 5th set tiebreak if it gets there.

It's like watching poker where all the players are sitting out and the blinds just keep moving around slowly.

ATP/WTA 2018: The Year of the Dimitrov

If this goes way over time, does that also delay Nadal djok? Or would they conceivably play them on court 1?

Isner runs like the least athletic kid in PE. He’s like an autistic savant of athletes.

They should give Isner and Anderson the rest of the day off if it gets to 6-6. Play the Djokovic/Nadal match on Center Court, and come back with the conclusion of Isner/Anderson after the women's final tomorrow.

Nice.

This just further tilts me the fact he managed to beat roger the other day.

Could have had Roger v Rafa in the final.

4h now

Re: ATP/WTA 2018: The Year of the Dimitrov

Whoever made the schedule is an absolute idiot.

The most anticipated match this tournament will have, and we have no idea when it will start. It could've started 2 hours ago, or it might not start for 2 more hours, or it might not start all today ffs.

It's just idiotic. Nadal/Djokovic should've had a set time, and this secondary event of the day could start after and these guys could hit serves until midnight. I mean, I woke up to watch tennis, it's 5-5 in the 5th set, and it's not even interesting or exciting really at all. I'm considering taking a one hour nap.

Agreed Nadal/Djoko should've gone first they really ****ed up. Neither guy looks they've broken a sweat yet either.

Completely agree. My cousin in Australia has had to call it a night so won’t get to see Rafa beat Novak later. Would probably better for most of it’s played after the woman’s final.

Feels like they should just move this match to court 1 so they can play the real final.
