Nice win for Elshapo over Chardy in 4. Chardy was a finalist and semi-finalist in the 2 grass court warmup events respectively. ElShapo taking away time and space like no one else can.

It's kind of weird how as the tournament progresses the grass gets more and more worn because it means that the championship itself is played on literally the worst grass condition of any match in the tournament.

Rando was up 5-1 in the first before finally winning 6-4. And in the final service game, she was up 40-30 and it was amazing she hit a winner to close it out.

Also, Isner in max crybaby mode, arguing with the ump about hawkeye being wrong. lol Isner. Probably thinks hawkeye is fake news (Isner is a MAGA guy).

ETA- I'm an American and play myself with Prince rackets, but boy, I hate Isner.

They stopped the Wawrinka/rando match at 0-2 in sets to rando, and 6-5 deuce.

So rando is serving to force a tiebreak, and at deuce.

Wow. I know they can't control nature, but what a place to stop.

Genie really blew that 2nd set today. Should have went to a decider but she would have wilted there likely anyways.

Shapo was way too short today, line didn't make much sense to me. Paire rope a doped him with that opening tank.
