They are talking about shot clocks on the side of the court, think it'd be a good idea.

Thoughts?

What, to serve? They've had this rule for years, they just need to enforce it

I would love it.

I think the easiest change they could make would be to prohibit toweling off between points.

Right now, they walk towards the towel after literally every point, including double faults. It slows the game down so so much.

If they change that, I think it would effectuate the same thing as a shot clock with an easier enforcement policy.

Yes.

Although they said that Rafa got a warning then, got another one and complained to the ATP tour and the guy doesn't get to be a ref in his matches.

So the players have too much power and the umps aren't willing to enforce it because they won't take the chance of losing out. Seems bizarre because if they all call them out on it they'll have to back them at some point rather than the players. He said (i'm not sure who it is) that taking it out of the umps hand would make it so much bette and easier.

lol. Murray gets broke at love, double faulting for the final point in the battle of who cares less.

Krygios wins!

Novak vs Dimitrov tomorrow.

Related, Novak and Wawrinka were signed up to play doubles together. It's unclear if they're still gonna do that or not, though.

Fed had to save a couple of match points in the tiebreak before moving on.

Sock lost in straight sets to some guy from Germany I've never heard of. Brand (?).

Typical American fraud.

Federer +130 to win Wimbledon. That's crazy odds there. I was looking to put a little money on him but not at those odds.

I haven't watched all his matches in the last couple of weeks, but in the ones I watched he has seemed a little shaky, and his movement didn't seem all there. I'm a Federer fan, but I would not put money on him winning Wimbledon right now.

Yeah I was thinking he might be around like +350. I was gonna take a shot there. Not now.

The women have some good odds. Halep at +1400 and Stephens at +1600 look worth a shot.

Wow. Coric pulls off the upset. And Cilic beat Novak.

And cilic was from a set down.

Cilic got to be amongst the favourites for Wimbledon now.

He was +1000 yesterday. Now he's +600. I wish I had jumped on it yesterday.

And Rafa is number one.

Roger wins Indian Wells or doesn’t get knocked out super early in Miami he’d have been #1 for this duration right?

Brit upstart Kyle Edmund beat Andy Murray today in one of those Wimbledon warmup tourneys.

The day before Murray beat Wawrinka pretty handedly.

I know my posts are usually full of brash hyperbole, but I think Wawrinka, Murray, and Nishikori (2 guys with GS trophies and one guy that was a runner up) are all on the permanent downward slide. I don't think any of them will ever see a GS final again.

Wimbledon draw is out, I'm too lazy to make an individual thread for it.

Murray and Djoko both capable of doing a Rafa/Roger imo. They are such levels above Stan and younger.

Murray would rinse Edmund when match sharp. He's come off a year out. He could win the US open imo.

Rafa being slept on for Wimbledon imo. He was ****ed with injury last year after the French but everyone sucks right now.

Who the **** would take Djok at those odds? That can only be marginally better than lighting money on fire.

I like Kyrgios at 20:1, if for no other reason he has to show up for a GS once in his life, and his recent form on grass has been top notch.

Rafa's easiest path is if Fed gets upset and he gets a patsy in the final.
