Nice story from Marco Trungelliti. Lost in the qualifiyers. Went back home, got called by his coach who asked him if he could play in Paris because they looked for another lucky loser. Rented a car because of strikes in France, travelled 10hrs and won his 1st round match.

This Maria such a fighter
Nadal was down a break in sets 2/3 and was down 6-3 in the tiebreak. Doesn't drop a set though. Easing his way in or a glimmer of hope for his closest challengers?

57th ranked Jared Donaldson battling hard with Dimitrov. Both of their service games are incredible.
5-5 in the 5th set
Querrey losing to Simon

Tennis fans are missing out on Dimitrov/Donaldson. Donaldson broke back against Dimitrov to stay alive.

I was going to point out how sad it would be to see none of the American men not make it past the second round only to find out that it has happened 3 times since 2004, including one where none of the American men made it past the first round (2007).
From 1968 (the start of the Open era) to 2003, it didn't happen at all.
It didn't happen at all in women's singles during the Open era and three times since 1925 (when the tournament permitted non-French players): 1925, 1927 (there were no American players in the women's bracket), and 1938.

Zverev is such a clown. Every major same story, waste energy in the 1st few rounds against inferior competition then flame out.
Thiem drew a hella tough R2 match against a guy who just beat him convincingly last month.

While I think there should be a clay Grand Slam, RG is such a joke every year. No lights in 2018 is amazing.

Factor in if you're American the coverage is abysmal and I've come to appreciate the red stuff a ton. ****ing blows!
