I've heard that the difference between being ranked in the 8-15 range and being in the 30-60 range isn't really an issue of literal tennis skill, but more in decision making (shot selection) and internal tilt control.

Maybe he's made some changes to how he approaches the game. I dunno, but good for him. He seems like a decent guy.

It appears as though nothing interesting has happened at Indian Wells yet.

Auger-Aliassime v Pop might could be interesting

they should know each other, anyway

hoping Felix can put together a good season here, ppl been hyping him up like he's even better than EL SHAPO

(bonus fun fact: FAA is exactly 19 years younger than FED)

Dimitrov, Zverev, and Djokovic all dropping in the round of 64 at Indian Wells...

The remaining top ten seeds on Federer's half are Thiem and Anderson. On Cilic's half it's Del Potro and Sock.

****-ton of upsets at IW. Gonna be at least one Cinderella run here.

A 16 year old American girl beat two ranked players (including one top 10) and is onto the 4th round.

These trainers Roger is wearing are horrible. He has had them since the Africa match.

Taylor (aka Frank) Fritz with the now 11-1 record in deciding set tiebreakers after he just routed Verdasco 7-1 in the 3rd set breaker. Frank looking good and that TB record is amazing and shows me a lot.

Serena was just broke at love to give Venus a 4-2 lead (and serving again) in the first.

She does her best to try to throw it away, but Venus wins 6-3, 6-4.

Former World No. 1 and 4-time Grand Slam Winner Ken Flach Dead at 54

The doubles specialist apparently had pneumonia that quickly deteriorated into septic shock, killing him quickly.

Yikes. Great, great player. RIP

although, so far, this is the only link I'm finding....

Linky no worky bro. (too much football for you)

Sadly he did in fact die of sepsis. Both he and Seguso kind of started the modern era of a doubles specialist paving the way for teams like Woodforde and Woodbridge and the Bryan's to take over doubles.

Was surprised to see that Carling Bassett and Seguso are still together. Man he scored there.

Jack Sock is such a WIL loser sometimes. I can't believe he won one of the end of the year throw away M1000s last year.

I had to sit courtside while my doubles partner horrifyingly tried his absolute hardest against Bassett (then #10 in the world) in an exhibition pro set. He had a won the local area public parks singles the previous year and it was promoted by the local paper. He crushed a disinterested/injured Bassett 8-1 and fist pumped nearly every point. It was cringe at it's highest level but he just didn't get it. She was a doll for sure though.
