Feel like Chung has definite multiple major-winning talent.

Whether he has the extra competitive edge to harness the talent remains to be seen, but he's something special.

Does any other sport start a match at 11 pm local time and play past midnight?

I was at the Svitolina game last night. Started after midnight and there would have been 500 people left over of I'd guess 11000 who watched Kyrgios.

That's what happened when I went to the US Open this year. I went to Ashe on the middle Saturday. Ashe had two 3-set women's matches, followed by a 4 hour 4-setter with Rafa because it was Rafa and he plays at about the pace a Koala bear would play tennis. Plus a roof closing for weather. The Federer match was supposed to start at 7 and actually started at like 9:45. Keys played Vesnina after and the match started at like 11:45 PM. We stayed for like 3-4 games but there were probably 1k or fewer people who stayed that long from a packed house for the Federer match.

Funny thing was part of the reason it started so late was the Nadal game vs Schwartzman went for nearly 4 hours to play only 4 sets and this caused Kyrgios, scheduled for 7pm, to start at 8.10pm. The scheduling is a joke anyway. It lists a men's game starting at 7pm and a women's at 9.30pm.

Nadal will have to play Cilic and probably Dimitrov to get to the final.

Federer will be playing Berdych, and then either an injured Novak or an unseeded player

Heard a fun story about Novak a couple of months ago.

A colleague of a colleague is one of the top sport dieticians/nutritionists itw. Djokovic and his team approached him for some advice.

Apparently, Novak's diet is/was basically a combination of every single fad diet going. So no gluten, no carbs, no fat - not much of anything in fact, which might explain why he's not very good anymore.

But switching away from gluten is what was supposed to make him great in the first place!

Wasn't it just putting bread on his elbow or some **** like that that helped him lol

Bloody hell, bookies have him as more likely to win his match than Roger or Rafa!

Gluten-free is the biggest load of crap around. Get that man a cheeseburger before he winds up playing in qualifiers!

I've seen Isner, Harrison and Vandeweghe spout similar things on Twitter. Tennis in general is filled with conservative millionaires, it's just that most are smart enough to shut their mouth about politics, but the Americans can't resist.

This exchange was also rather cringey:

Important to note:

John Isner is from North Carolina.
Tennys Sangren is from Tennessee.
Ryan Harrison is from Louisiana.

For those that aren't familiar with the various regions of the United States, these are three states traditionally associated with racism.

Thigh tattoos, why? But I'm sure Svitolina is hotter than any woman I've ever seen irl or whatever.

Regardless, match needs more #HSIEH.
