FWIW the crowd did cheer Osaka during the trophy presentation, so they weren't ever booing her; it was the umpire/situation they were booing.

There seems to be a weird gaslighting thing going on on the internet right now. I think there's some PR firm pushing it hard, or just some kind of women's club where they're sticking up for each other.

She was completely off the rails. The coaching thing happened - whatever sure maybe it wasn't coaching but it was but it wasn't. She gets a warning. Then demos her racket and (rightfully) gets a penalty. Then later on she goes nuts on the ump, stops, and decides to come back for more after she doesn't get penalized (somehow) and play the sexism card and "you'll never ump a match of mine ever again", rants for another million years and finally gets penalized.
