Damn, would have been a massive win for Zverev. Might have still choked it away without the delay anyhow as his nerves certainly showed yesterday while trying to put away Cilic, but now we’ll never know.

To be clear, Zverev was up 3-1. Then the short rain delay, then Rafa held for 3-2. After that was the long rain delay before Zverev's serve.

Once play finally resumed, Rafa won 4 straight games and won the final set 6-3.

In the first set Zverev was up 1-0 before losing 6 straight games. In the third set he was up 3-1 before losing 5 straight games.

But he won the second 6-1, so not a bad showing really.

does anyone know if espn has coverage at all?

i see today it's just tennis channel (which i don't get anymore) and a few hours on nbc that i assume will be tape of venus losing played twice or something.
