No it was swing. In those conditions, a Kookaburra would still swing. Maybe not too the same degree as a Duke with all of its laquer on it. Also, we are talking conventional swing here so the need to talk about keeping one side shiny and the other rough which is for reverse swing isn't happening at that stage of the innings...
BTW - how come I am not seeing another English wicket fall?
